Design Engineering Lead

Job Description: Design Engineering Lead Position Summary: Provide engineered solutions for the development of new products and modifications to existing products. Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide engineered solutions for the development of new products and modifications to existing products • Produce full manufacturing specification package including Engineering BOM's • To resolve problems at the root cause quickly and effectively, and manage engineering changes • Follow Group standards in the areas of QFD, FMEA, design-for-manufacture, prototype development and field testing • Follow Group engineering standards and associated IT systems, to ensure effective global management of released engineering data • Ensure current and new products meet standards and performance levels specified for safety, function and reliability • Reduce manufacturing cost through improved design and through consultation with the production department, purchasing and suppliers • To investigate and address customer complaints in a timely manner • Drive standardization of components and sub-assemblies within the product line • Stay knowledgeable of machine component advancements and competitor design trends; apply latest technology to new and existing designs where appropriate to stay current and innovative • Oversee and direct staff • Perform team member annual reviews • Train, evaluate, and coach team to ensure they have tools to be successful • Assist with interviewing and hiring process • Implement corrective actions consistently and fairly • Provide coaching and cross training opportunities to team members • Foster a positive work environment • Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience • Engineering graduate or 5+ years of experience • BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial or equivalent preferred. • Supervisory experience • Time management skills • Transparency, Integrity and Trust • Experience working on a cross-functional team • Hands-on approach • Excellent analytic skills • Excellent sense urgency • Great problem solving skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Why Join Us • We are a global company, and our culture is defined by our Values - Integrity, Respect, Improvement, Servant Leadership, Courage, and Citizenship. Manufacturing Equipment Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Professional This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a skilled Maintenance Professional. As part of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine and advanced diagnostic trouble shooting with minimal supervision. Job Description The successful candidate will provide support to our Engineering Services group by operating and performing daily checks on Direct and Indirect Maintenance equipment/systems. They will also assist higher level mechanics with repairs in compliance with company and departmental SOPs. The individual will work in a fast-paced, safety-oriented, team environment and perform tasks that are routine in nature where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. They will maintain records to comply with Good Manufacturing Practice requirements to include detailed documentation of work performed in both electronic and written form. Key Responsibilities • Perform all work safely, adhering to GMP guidelines, SOP's and work instructions • Responsible for execution Suite & Elastomer preventative maintenance practices related to maintaining manufacturing equipment • Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of direct and indirect manufacturing equipment & systems • Responsible for maintaining maintenance areas to a level of audit readiness at all times • Responsible for maintaining a current status with training as it relates to aspects of the job • Demonstrated knowledge of Elastomer program (package creation, spares requisition, LOTO boundaries & work execution). Responsible for execution of all assigned elastomer work • Practical application of CMMS functions necessary to document assigned maintenance activities • Demonstrated practical knowledge of Spare Parts policies and procedures related to parts transactions • Practical application of Quality systems (DMS & Track wise) • Responsible for participation in safety training programs • Responsible for using tools and equipment in a safe manner in accordance to manufacturer and plant safety guidelines • Practical application of equipment schematics, P&ID's and engineering drawings as it relates to manufacturing processing equipment • Collaboration with Reliability & Engineering on projects and repairs. As SME, assist with root cause investigations related to equipment failures • Participation in continuous improvement initiatives • In addition to adherence of stated competencies and behaviors, reference to the maintenance skills matrix will be used to assess level 3 proficiency.
