Responsibilities include: • Modeling and analysis of mechanical assemblies and components • Perform basic mechanical and systems engineering functions independently, with more complex engineering tasks performed under supervision • Mechanical assembly/component design, prototyping, testing, and implementation using 3D modeling combined with FDM and SLS 3D printing • Preparation of engineering documentation, including specifications, detailed design memoranda, test protocols, test reports and technical procedures • Preparation of system-level and component drawings/schematics • Technical consultation in relation to existing product line problem investigation and ongoing product improvement • Completion of all assignments efficiently and accurately with a high degree of technical competence Qualifications • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering OR Engineering Technology • Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Ability to create and maintain precise mechanical drawings and documentation for the manufacturing of complex components and assemblies. • U.S. citizenship is required.
