This property combines historic New England character with upscale guest experiences, offering elegant accommodations, fine dining, multiple event venues, pools, and leisure facilities. Guests visit for weddings, retreats, family vacations, and seasonal celebrations, and the Chief Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring all systems run flawlessly. 🔧 Key Responsibilities • Oversee all engineering and maintenance operations across the resort, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, pools, and life-safety systems • Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules for guestrooms, event spaces, kitchens, and public areas • Lead and supervise the engineering team, providing training, coaching, and performance management • Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards, local codes, and life-safety inspections • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and inspectors for specialized maintenance and capital projects • Manage departmental budgets, control expenses, and recommend long-term improvements • Partner with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Events teams to support seamless guest experiences • Maintain property exterior and grounds, ensuring safety, lighting, and appearance meet resort standards ✅ Qualifications • Proven track record as a Chief Engineer or senior engineering leader within hospitality • Expertise across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems • Strong experience in preventative maintenance and compliance reporting • Excellent leadership, communication, and vendor negotiation skills • Familiarity with CMMS or similar maintenance management tools • Technical certifications in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, or electrical systems preferred 🌟 What We Offer • The chance to lead engineering operations at a premier award-winning Nantucket resort • A collaborative, professional environment with strong cross-departmental teamwork • Competitive compensation package with benefits and career growth opportunities

Flat Rate Automotive Repair Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Flat Rate Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent diagnostic skills, a strong knowledge of automotive systems, and the ability to work well under pressure. About the Role: • Perform vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and testing to determine required or recommended repairs. • Diagnose malfunctions and perform the necessary repairs, including engine failures, mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions, and part replacements. • Verify vehicle serviceability and ensure quality repairs by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems as needed. • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and recommended on the repair order in accordance with operating procedures. • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent and two-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work well in a team environment. • Excellent communication and diagnostic skills, with a strong knowledge of automotive systems and tools. • Able to lift over 50 pounds with assistance device required and/or frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to or over 35 pounds with assistance device available as needed.
