Facilities' Mechanical Engineer

Job Description Renesas is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering and technical support for facilities’ mechanical, process piping, plumbing, fire suppression systems and industrial water plant (DI Water Plant). Responsibilities include providing design, ACAD drawings, specifications, cost estimates and materials review/approval. Maintain “as-built” plans, files and records of plant buildings, systems and equipment. Evaluate plant needs, short term and long-term strategic plans and provides best available solutions. Support operations and maintenance groups in trouble shooting existing systems and optimizing maintenance and operating performance and costs. Assure compliance with all applicable life safety, city, state and federal codes and regulations. Project management and supervise construction to comply with drawings, specifications, contracts and budget. Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Required Experience: Minimum 5 years of engineering work in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment is highly desirable. This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.
