Your Responsibilities: As a CI Design Engineer you will: • Provide design support and troubleshooting for the and Windrower Platform production line • Produce and/or evaluate possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications. Drafting / Engineering Technician

About us Winbco Tank Company is an ISO 9001;2015 certified manufacturer of custom tanks and pressure vessels. Winbco builds field-erected tanks all over the country as well as shop built and shipped tanks from their Ottumwa, IA location. https://www.winbco.com/about/history-and-mission Duties • Daily drafting and project revision in AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor software • Ability to read and translate blueprints and technical drawing/schematics • Analyze drawings to ensure compliance with design codes and OSHA regulations • Basic understanding of structural design and mechanical and fabrication processes • Basic understanding of Office software, and basic technical writing skills • Work as part of a team and individually on multiple projects at a time • A keen eye for detail with excellent time management and communication skills • Occasional travel for learning and growth opportunities Preferred Experience • Min. 2 years experience as a Engineering Technician, CAD/Drafter, or similar technical field with drafting experience • Strong mechanical knowledge and and understanding of fabrication processes • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or other drafting software • Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and CAD drawings • Experience with API (American Petroleum Institute) / ASME pressure vessel design code preferred but not required • Experience with CAD/CAM programming, ARC welding knowledge a plus This position requires a detail-oriented individual with good time management skills.
