Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Ottumwa Function: Factory Engineering (CA) Title: Facilities Engineer - 114750 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Facilities Engineer for Ottumwa Works located in Ottumwa, IA, you will: • Plan, facilitate, and execute the installation and removal of production and facilities equipment to include HVAC, plant power equipment, doors, robotics/automation, controls, etc. • Plan and precure materials for utility and facility related projects. • Plan and execute capital equipment acquisition relating to facilities. • Provide part identification, specification, and procurement in support of preventative maintenance activities. • Work with other disciplines to complete projects in support of facility and production related success. • Provide technical support as needed for troubleshooting and repair of production and facilities equipment as needed. • Identify opportunities to optimize facility and production equipment performance as measured by cost of operation, uptime, reliability, and efficiency. • Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and procedures. • Act as SAP PM business process expert. • Ensure safety and environmental requirements are considered and followed for maintenance and facilities related activities. • At times, aid skilled trades supervision to provide work direction to UAW skilled trades employees. • Maintain Skilled Trades Sharepoint site, and development and advancement of maintenance metric tracking and efficiency improvement of the skilled trades. Job Overview The position of Equipment Maintenance Supervisor involves overseeing the maintenance of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
