Maintenance Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our Metal Casting Facility, this individual will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machines and equipment using various tools and techniques • Conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime • Lubricating and cleaning equipment to ensure optimal performance • Using common hardware such as bolts and pipe fittings to perform minor repairs • Carrying out preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of our equipment Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates must possess: • The ability to lift and carry less than 50 pounds with ease • Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and twisting up to 90 times per hour • The capacity to stand and walk for extended periods of 8-10 hours • Able to work in extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoors • Experience working with hands in water, around machinery, at heights, and with dust and fumes • 2-4 years of verifiable maintenance mechanic experience in an industrial setting • Preferring a technical degree
