This role involves purchasing related materials and ensuring optimal equipment functionality, alongside a focus on efficiency and proper workflow coordination with vendors and engineering teams. • Manage inventory to ensure the availability of production equipment parts. • Diagnose equipment issues and recommend effective corrective actions. • Oversee the upkeep of production equipment and facilities, and handle purchasing related to maintenance needs. • Propose new equipment or process enhancements to boost production efficiency. • Ensure all staff receive adequate training on equipment and safety procedures. • Assist in improving plant layout and facilitate the movement of equipment. • Prepare management reports when required. • Stay updated on industry changes and advancements. • Utilize sound judgment to maintain, repair, and adjust production equipment, in compliance with established policies. • Safeguard sensitive data, including employee records. • Utilize computers, standard office equipment, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned. • Adhere to Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System guidelines. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: • Associate's Degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience. • Minimum of three years of electromechanical experience in a manufacturing setting. • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance. • In-depth knowledge of maintenance technology. • Strong skills in reading blueprints and schematics. • Understanding of machine repair, hydraulic systems, welding, fabrication, and pipe fitting. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively at all organizational levels. • Experience in leading and participating in cross-functional teams. • Analytical skills to evaluate data from multiple sources and present findings. • Proactive and capable of working independently. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
