Train with the owner/engineer to learn the art of foundation repair & design, while managing multiple crew leaders in achieving outstanding results. The eventual assumption of the owner's duties & responsibilities is the goal, with future ownership as a possible outcome. Duties • Ability to evaluate all types of foundation and structural-related issues, associated with commercial and residential buildings. • Develop clear/concise reports which provide effective repair solutions and costs. • Supervise assistant/non-licensed field personnel in providing additional site evaluations and repair proposals. • Oversee all office personnel responsible for scheduling, accounting, billing and administrative duties. • Manage the efficient operation of all purchases and sales of equipment and materials. • Supervise shop personnel regarding vehicles, equipment and maintenance. Qualifications • Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering degree preferred. • General contractors' license/experience is helpful. • Strong work ethic, positive attitude and good written/communications skills is a must. • Valid driver's license in good standing. • The ability to perform basic physical demands common to general contracting or home inspection. Manufacturing Engineer II New Bern, NC / Full-time Your responsibilities Provide engineering support of manufacturing shop floor within the department.
