Professional Requirements • The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of mechanical engineering design experience in industry, have excellent academic credentials (BS Degree), the ability to design for a wide range of fabrication processes, capabilities in FEA and CAD, and excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and communication. • Manufacturing and precision machining experience is strongly desired. • Full proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting software is required, familiarity/skill with SolidWorks is preferred. Candidate must have a complete understanding of drafting standards, a talent for spatial conceptualization, and be able to communicate clearly and accurately using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and effective communication and prioritization skills are also required.
