Responsibilities and Duties • Lead the charge for ensuring all employees, customers, and visitors understand the importance of 100% safety compliance and maintaining an injury free workplace • Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix/CompactLogix/GuardLogix), Siemens (TIA Portal), or Beckhoff PLC platform • Project management including scope development, budgeting, execution and documentation of electrical and automation projects • Specifying, setup, and troubleshooting of variable frequency AC drives, DC motor drives, and motor control centers • Promote and develop preventative maintenance procedures of electrical & automation equipment • Lead root-cause analysis of electrical downtime using tools such as historians, meters, and thermal imaging • Maintain arc flash & coordination studies, NFPA 70E and NFPA 70B compliance • HMI/ SCADA development and modification • Develop, troubleshoot, and modify manufacturing execution system interfaces (MES) • Maintain and modify historians Qualifications and Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering • 3+ years of industrial automation experience or 10 years industrial automation experience with no degree Preferred Skills: • Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, & GuardLogix programming and troubleshooting • Siemens S7-1500 programming and troubleshooting • FactoryTalk (SE/ME), Simatic, or Ignition HMI experience • Siemens and Allen-Bradley drives experience • Medium and low voltage switchgear troubleshooting and maintenance experience • Iba or OSI PI historian experience • Strong device networking skills
