Operating from a 72,000 sq. foot factory (one hour from Dallas) on 10 acres, with a large team of 50 skilled professionals who deliver top-notch solutions in welding, carpentry, painting, electrical work, plumbing, and more. Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of generator rooms, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and NBC air systems. Additionally, they will prepare detailed technical documentation and ensure all bunker designs meet the highest efficiency and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: • Design HVAC Systems: Perform heating and cooling load calculations, and select appropriate equipment, size, and layout ductwork. • Design Electrical Systems: Plan and design electrical layouts and circuits to ensure optimal functionality and safety. • Design Plumbing Systems: Develop and implement plumbing layouts, ensuring efficient water and waste management. • Design Air Systems: Design and implement air circulation and filtration systems for optimal air quality and safety. • Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design calculations, equipment schedules, and operation manuals. • Collaborate: Work closely with other engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution. • Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and client specifications. Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an American University. • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit and CAD software. • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information. • You will interact with the clients as well as oversee the construction of projects in the factory.
