Job Description Job Summary: Diagnose and repair collision-related mechanical damage. Essential Functions: • Responsible for analysis and evaluation on vehicles to establish the need for repair, service needed, or replacement of parts; • Communicate needed repairs to repair teammates: • Repair or replace malfunctioning mechanical parts; • Participates in all required safety meetings; • Communicates with others on the status of repairs in order to keep the vehicle on-track for scheduled delivery time; Qualifications • Must have prior mechanical experience; • Possess all tools needed; • I-CAR or ASE certifications; • Ability to multi-task is a must; • Reliable work history; • Must be able to pass thorough background check; Additional Information Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment. Qualifications: • Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience, with a significant portion focused on electrical maintenance and machine maintenance. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively. • Working knowledge of industrial mechanics (gears, belts, bearings, couplings, drive lines). • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. • Experience with gearbox, VFD, and sprocket maintenance. • Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus. • Must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. • Ability to work in various industrial environments. • Strongly prefer experience with chiller systems, boiler systems, air compressors, 480v 3-phase AC and DC systems, and PLC motor control. • Preference for graduates of industrial or electrical technology programs.
