We continue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization. This is a role within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Perform skilled fitting and/or mechanical or hydraulic type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment, and (ii) Perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Perform skilled fitting and/or mechanical or hydraulic type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment • Perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards • Do aligning, adjusting, and required secondary machining • Work from drawings and specifications and shop orders • Use required precision measuring instruments and gauging devices • Operate cranes and hoists or lift tables • Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel • Keep accurate production records/logs etc. • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. • Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed Minimum Qualifications • No minimum education required • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment or can demonstrate sufficient competence in area • Intermediate understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude • Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment The pay range for this position is 18.50; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
