Description: • As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating a range of test instruments across multiple skill areas, including: • Dimensional Equipment • Industrial / Mechanical Equipment • Temperature Equipment • Perform standards maintenance and checking of company standards as assigned by Lab Manager. • Collect calibration data and accurately record information on data sheets. Complete calibration certifications, including any out of tolerance conditions. • Engage in ongoing training in all aspects of Micro Precision Calibration Services and share knowledge and best practices with team members. • Adhere to safety precautions and quality standards during all tasks to ensure compliance with company policies. • Effectively communicate calibration issues and procedures with both customers and colleagues through in-person interactions, phone, and email. Requirements: • Valid Driver's License. • Basic knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipment is preferred. • Experience with basic instrumentation and manual tools is a plus. • Strong understanding of basic mathematics. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under the guidance of Senior Technicians. • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Work Environment: • Work will be conducted in a local laboratory and at customer facilities. • Expect up to 25% of the role to involve out-of-town, overnight travel.
