Manufacturing Engineer

Description ● Commissioning and Validation: Oversee the commissioning, validation, and qualification of manufacturing equipment, ensuring all systems operate correctly and meet performance standards. ● Equipment and Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance production efficiency and product quality. ● Quality Control: Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems to ensure equipment and processes consistently meet product specifications and regulatory requirements. ● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and equipment. ● Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of processes, equipment specifications, and validation results; prepare reports on production performance and improvement initiatives. Qualifications ● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field. ● 3 ~ 7 years of professional experience ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and implement effective solutions. ● Experience in designing and implementing production lines. ● Proficiency in defining equipment specifications and managing validation processes. ● Expertise in lean manufacturing practices and process improvement methodologies. ● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. ● Proven track record of managing projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. ● Proactive, driven, and capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment. ● Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies. Nevada County is looking for a well-organized individual to fill this integral part of the wastewater collection and treatment team whose mission is to keep community wastewater systems functioning by performing preventative maintenance activities and various repair work on sewer collection system equipment and wastewater treatment systems. An example of the job duties includes day-to-day scheduling and oversight employees, preparation of cost estimates, maintains logs and records of completed work, installs, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, adjusts, calibrates, and fabricates a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment, and responds to customer complaints or inquiries regarding service or emergency response.
