Mechanical Reliability Specialist Hillsboro, OR Pay: $80,000-$100,000 Overview: Hiring a Rotating Equipment / Mechanical Reliability Specialist responsible for maintaining and improving mechanical system reliability at a single facility. Sr. Manufacturing Engineer (Contractor)

The Position The Hillsboro Technical Operations (HTO) is a drug product and finished goods manufacturing organization responsible for the reliable delivery of Roche’s commercial portfolio & pipeline products. The Manufacturing organization at HTO is divided into Aseptic Operations and Packaging, which combine to produce millions of units of life-saving medicine every year to patients around the world. Summary: The Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Aseptic Operations will serve as the technical leader responsible for optimizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment and processes within our sterile manufacturing operations. This individual will drive continuous improvement, support new product introductions, and ensure the robust and compliant production of Roche’s commercial portfolio and pipeline products. A deep understanding of aseptic techniques, cGMP, regulatory requirements, and advanced automation in a sterile environment is paramount for this role. In this role, you will be an employee of Magnit, working on a Genentech contract. Shifts: Day Shift-Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00pm; Swing Shift-Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00am Pay rate (depends on experience): $57/hour to $66/hour Contract duration:12 months (possible extensions up to 36 months Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, Quality, Automation, Process Engineering and Validation to troubleshoot and solve complex problems. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance line efficiency, reduce scrap/rejects, optimize cycle times, and increase yield within the aseptic core and downstream areas. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. • Provide expert engineering support for complex manufacturing deviations, non-conformances, and quality events specific to aseptic processing. • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using advanced engineering principles and techniques. • Proven ability to apply structured problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, FMEA) to complex, high-impact manufacturing and sterility-related issues. • You will manage documentation including deviations, work orders, work instructions and SOP’s. Who you are: • You have a Bachelors degree (preferably engineering or related field) plus 5 - 10 years experience as an engineer in related industry. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • You are a self-motivated teammate with the ability to work, prioritize, and deliver results with minimal supervision. • You have a demonstrated success operating in teams (especially multi-functional teams) • You have strong organizational, computer, and analytical skills. • You have experience in equipment maintenance/operation, troubleshooting, and projects. • You have an understanding of drug product and/or finished goods processes & equipment • Knowledge of use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems • Ability to work in a controlled and aseptic cleanroom environment, strictly adhering to gowning and sterility requirements. • May require occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; capable of prolonged visual inspection or work at machines. Facilities Maintenance Engineer - LME

Job Summary: Under general supervision of the Maintenance Manager, Chief Engineer, or their designee, and provides continuous mechanical and electrical support service and repairs necessary to effectively maintain the safe operation of Kaiser Permanente facilities. Resolve and document all trouble calls relating to mechanical and electrical equipment.Essential Responsibilities: • Responds to and resolves emergency maintenance calls. • Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, physical structure and associated equipment, including mechanical, electrical repairs and other duties relating to facility maintenance. • Performs watch standing activities on physical plant equipment, including chemical analysis and treatment. • Checks and replenishes supplies of fuel, materials, maintenance supplies, and repair parts. • Performs fire and life safety inspections, and maintains appropriate records. • Properly identifies and documents work which needs to be performed on equipment. • Maintains appropriate documentation of work performed. • Evaluates building equipment and systems; recommends changes, additions or deletions. • Assists with new building or expansion start-ups when needed. • Assists with snow and ice removal when needed. • Performs building maintenance, repairs as required. • Performs building inspections and equipment safety testing as required. • Performs all related tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or the Chief Engineer, or their designee. • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and clear communication both verbal and written.
