This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to gain hands-on experience - the employer is willing to train the right person! In this role, you'll learn to repair and fabricate hydraulic cylinders, make custom hoses, identify and sell fittings, and diagnose and repair hydraulic systems with a variety of tools and equipment. You'll also assist with service and repairs on diesel fleet vehicles. REQUIREMENTS • Must lift and carry up to 100 pounds as part of regular job duties, including handling heavy parts, tools, and equipment. • Must be 18 years of age due to the use of power-driven machinery and tools prohibited for minors under Oregon and federal labor laws. JOB DUTIES • Diagnose and repair hydraulic cylinders. • Perform routine maintenance on hydraulic systems and components. • Disassemble hydraulic cylinders for inspection and rebuild. • Test hydraulic cylinders after repair. • Maintain records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inspections. • Make hoses with the correct fittings based on customer's needs. • Use power-driven machinery, including hydraulic tools, grinders, and diagnostic equipment.
