Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing complex issues with heavy duty vehicles, and ensuring that all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements • Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy duty vehicles, including electrical systems, engines, and transmissions • Use diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and code readers to identify problems • Repair or replace parts as needed, using tools such as wrenches, sockets, and air compressors • Ensure that all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner, following established procedures and guidelines Required Skills & Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must have the following skills and qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in a related field preferred • Minimum of two years experience working with heavy duty vehicles, preferably in a mechanic's role • Strong understanding of electrical systems, engines, and transmissions • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: • Competitive hourly rate: $36.00 per hour • Opportunity for overtime pay and bonuses • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) retirement plan with company match • Paid time off and holidays Others We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from qualified candidates of all backgrounds.
