Specific Duties and Responsibilities Include: • Prepare design documents for HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection using Revit for most projects. • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and university design guidelines. • Provide engineering calculations and analysis of mechanical systems with oversight from senior team members. • Perform construction administration services including submittal reviews, punchlist inspections, and project closeout. • Confirm existing conditions from drawing archives and site visits. • Adhere to and assist in developing department standards. • Develop and maintain project workbook using eBuilder. • Participate in meetings with project managers, consulting architects and engineers, University stakeholders, and others. • Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering • Experience: Four years of mechanical design experience; Proficiency in drafting mechanical systems (Revit preferred) • Licensure: Professional Engineer required (or ability to achieve within 6 months by comity) Anticipated Compensation Range: $90,000 - $105,000, commensurate with experience; Sign-on bonus available!
