Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY This position encompasses responsibility for manufacturing support on the shop floor, production methods and standards, product design, research and development, preparing cad files, and special cost estimates. The primary responsibility of this position is for the technical processes related to manufactured product. To qualify as a Manufacturing Engineer an individual must be able to perform all of the following: QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a related position. Strong computer skills including Auto CAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office and other related personal computer applications Good communication skills both written and verbal. Strong analytical skills Strong project management skills QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a related position. Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques and methodologies Working knowledge of welding applications and techniques Working knowledge of machining and metal fabrication Working knowledge of stamping tools and techniques Working knowledge of O.S.H.A requirements Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control
