Essential Job Function As a Mechanical Designer/Drafter you will develop simple to complex technical drawings utilizing industry and client standards. Deliverable drawings are based on new, retrofit or as-built designs utilizing equipment specifications, engineering notes, sketches, reference drawings, and as-built notes to complete work assignments. Role Responsibilities • Utilize client preferred design suites with industry & client standards to create project required documents: PFD’s, P&ID’s, Plot Plans, Piping Plans, Sections & Details, and Piping Isometrics • Provide QA Level check skills to review 3D models, P&ID’s, laser scan data and photographs and redlined drawing packages using knowledge of proper AVEVA hierarchy practices and techniques • Develop and check simple to complex piping designs • Work closely with Engineers, Designers and Drafters • Travel to project sites to perform facility as-builts (as required) • Other duties and tasks as assigned Job Qualifications • Five plus years preferred of Piping Design experience with a concentration in Oil & Gas • Ensuring that the work product meets company, industry and client standards • Professional communication skills for interaction with clients and 3rd party vendors • Demonstrates problem solving skills and exercises sound judgement in engineering and mechanical design principles. • Hourly Range $25-$50. Pay range varies dependent on applicable experience and software proficiency. Software Skills • AVEVA E3D (preferred) & PDMS 12.1 or above (5+ years experience preferred) • Model • Draw • P&ID • AutoCAD Drafting Proficient ( 1+ years experience) • AutoCAD Plant 3D 2018 or above (2+ years experience preferred) • Navisworks Manage or Simulate 2019 or above • Proficiency in MS Office Suite software Physical Requirements Ability to frequently move about inside the office. This is a salaried position ranging from $90-95K, depending on experience + daily per diem Holiday and vacation included This is a Long term contract to hire position Description: The goal of the Construction Manager is to facilitate a positive experience with The Client. He/she ensures that products and Installation out-perform customer expectations and are of the highest quality possible and develops customer loyalty by optimizing the product to the customer’s needs and providing great technical onsite support services on the Solar Tracking product.
