Job Summary We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer. This position is located in Oxnard, CA and requires an active TS/SCI level security clearance to perform the job duties. The person selected for this position will be responsible for the maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of existing mechanical systems as well as supporting the design and integration of new systems. This position is part of a team composed of engineers, technicians and support staff that provide maintenance and design support for electronic, mechanical and hydraulic systems in support of a long-term client program. Responsibilities • Maintaining, testing and troubleshooting existing mechanical systems as part of an integrated technical team. • Maintaining, testing and troubleshooting existing mechanical systems independently with minimal oversight. • Working closely with the Battelle engineers located in Columbus OH to design, fabricate and integrate new mechanical systems. • Working closely with onsite clients and associate contractors to define system requirements and integrate systems. • Generating and interpreting mechanical schematics. • Generating and following installation and testing procedures within a stringent client quality assurance system. • Work temporary assignments outside the Ventura CA area up to 120 days.
