Mechanical Journeyman

LEADEC is seeking a Journeyman Welder to join its organization onsite in Greenville, SC!!! Responsibilities: • Weld GTAW & SMAW (Tig & Stick welding) of Stainless and Carbon Steel • Stick weld structural steel in the shop and in the field, where fabrication conditions will not always be ideal. • Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively • All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager Requirements: • 3+ years in field experience of welding in industrial, automotive, warehouse, plant, or commercial environments • Able to weld GTAW & SMAW (Tig & Stick welding) of Stainless and Carbon Steel • Able to stick weld structural steel in the shop and in the field, where fabrication conditions will not always be ideal. • Perform a super-heavy wall test (GG Position), tig root, hot pass stick filler/cap, and stainless tig all the way out • Must have their own Tig Rig, hand tools, and welding hood. • Must provide their own transportation to and from the work site. • Must be willing to multitask and engage in additional work activities when welding is not the primary scope to be executed. • Must be willing and available to work a 4x10 work week schedule plus overtime hours. • Must be able to undergo and pass a drug test • Must be able to undergo and take a welding test. • Must be able to work at heights that could exceed 30-40 feet Qualifications As outlined in the job description.

Mechanical Installation Technician

Qualifications – Qualified candidates will be responsible for installing robots, tools, fencing, conveyors, structure and other devices in manufacturing cells in the automotive industry. In this role, you will be expected to follow installation schedules, ensure quality control, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Your Opportunity – The Integration Mechanical Technician position works on the production floor under the supervision and direction of a supervisor and assembles components parts. Responsibilities: • Ability to read a ruler and measure calipers • Touch up machined parts and inspect for flaws before build • Manually soldering components • Read process routing, wiring diagrams, and similar production planning documents or drawings • Ability to assemble products with tight tolerances • Assemble cabinets, or similar devices and install them • Clean parts using cleaning devices, solutions, and abrasives • Perform informal, in-process self-checks on manufactured items to assist in formal inspection and/or test • Familiar with arbor press, vise, machine shop equipment • Ability to use multi-meter • Assist with other related jobs as directed Qualifications: • 3 years of experience in hands-on technical equipment assembly or other technical environment • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused • Experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems • Experience with driving forklifts, cranes • Experience with electrical hand tools • Experience with a CAD system es a plus. • Experience working with chemicals or in a hazardous environment a plus • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. • Must have a valid driver license • Must have an Osha certificate for construction, forklift, crane or similar

Electro Mechanical Technician

Job Title: Electro Mechanical Technician Salary Status: DOE FLSA: Employment Type: Non - Exempt Reports to: Plant Manager POSITION OVERVIEW: Electro Mechanical Technician oversees the facility, manufacturing equipment, machine processes and related tooling. This includes assisting in the scheduling of all repairs/projects, and collaborates with site manager to improve operational efficiency of the facility. Drives activities that result in the repair/maintenance, upgrade, installation of plant machinery. This will include manufacturing equipment, facility maintenance, machine process controls, and the related tooling. Executes a variety of technical tasks related to the facility, manufacturing equipment maintenance, machine process, its’ related tooling, and provides general and/or technical assistance to the Blow Molding Technicians/ Injection Molding Technicians. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure that they comply with all Health and Safety rules and regulations and all relating matters while using the company resources in line with the Health and Safety policies. • Leads/ Assists, coordinates the Technicians work assignments, and any documentation requirements, downtime reporting in Guidewheel with the Plant Site Leader and the Operations Lead. • Assists in the improvement of the facility safety procedures, adherence to OSHA standards. • In conjunction with the Site Manager, Schedules repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and support equipment to ensure continuous production operations. • Evaluates maintenance work orders to determine priorities and assignments of using internal or external resources, based on technical expertise and availability. • Confers with senior technical management to resolve maintenance issues and recommend measures to improve conditions of machines and equipment. • Assists in developing preventive maintenance program in conjunction with internal or external maintenance staff to ensure optimum equipment uptime. • Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards. • Researches alternative suppliers, methods of technology to perform maintenance work with combination of cost and quality. • Responds to emergency maintenance requests and determine cause and recommends solutions to Site Manager and Sr. Technical Managers for the related equipment. • Participates with Site Manager in discussing and reviewing capital expenditure needs and recommends plans to leadership in planning future expenditures. • Requisitions tools, equipment and supplies required for projects. • Assists in training staff, ensuring that best practices are used on all shifts and by all technicians, in how they changeover, set up a blow molder and the related downstream equipment. • Assist Site Manager and assigns and manages standard facilities duties in landscaping, office, janitorial, carpentry, painting, HVAC, roofing and security using internal and external resources. • Inspects building and equipment for repair and maintenance. • Maintains accurate maintenance records and prepare reports for management review. • May be required to travel throughout the company network to assist other locations in the completion of training or work assignments as requested. • Weekend and evening work required. • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE: • Technical or Vocational degree/certificate and 10+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Knowledge of advanced mechanical principles including electrical theory and practice, hydraulic theory and practice, pneumatic theory and practice. Knowledge of OSHA 70E NFPA standards • Basic to advanced troubleshooting of mechanical operated machinery. • Ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled machinery and ancillary equipment.
