Electrical - Mechanical Quality Source Inspector

Overview: Aerospace Quality Source Inspector - Electrical / Mechanical Position Title: Aerospace Electrial / Mechanical Quality Source Inspector Location: Dublin GA, and surrounding areas Job Type: Standing weekly source at supplier every Friday - other supplier locations available for standard source inspection based on supplier requests Employment Type: VTR W2 Field Employee (or) VSC 1099 with LLC, if preferred. As the Aerospace Electrial / Mechanical Quality Source Inspector you will act on behalf of Verify's customer and will be responsibile to ensure compliance of product during in process and final inspections. As the dedicated inspector you will be trained on customer processes and requirements to ensure all standards/specifications are followed while supporting reporting and communication to all stakeholders on issues/non-conformances...etc. Job Description: • The quality inspector shall support on-site at single or multiple supplier facilities to perform documentation, visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies. • Validate all product and paperwork compliant to including but not limited to: engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications. • Inspect Certificates of Conformance from material, external suppliers, and other service providers to ensure these items conform to customers purchase order requirements and specifications • Perform a wide variety of conventional/traditional inspection operations utilizing various inspection techniques • Report via operating systems for Customer and Verify while communicating any non-conformance while providing reject or rework disposition. Must be willing to utilize personal laptop to complete customer inspection records within SAP platform and Verify' s reporting platform. Requirements: • Strong background in the manufacturing of printed circuits and circuit card assemblies. • Minimum 2 years of solder and conformal coating inspection experience. • Ability to understand and perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas. • Strong understanding of solder and conformal coating IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements. • Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting technical documents and work instructions. • Proficient with personal computers. • * Min 10 years inspection experience • Complex Printed Circuit Board Assemblies • PWB's • Active Certification for JSTD-001, preferred or previously held certification(s). Must be willing to recertify and maintain active certifications as required. • Active Certification for IPC-610, preferred or , preferred or previously held certification(s) must be willing to recertify and maintain active certifications as required. • Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance to the AS9102 standard and knowledge is required, including complete review of technical data package for full traceability of documents. • Experience using various inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers. Requirements: • Posses soft skills to clearly communicate non-conformances internally and externally • Candidate should be computer savvy and MUST be willing to use personal laptop to complete inspection reporting via SAP platform and SPP (Supplier Performance Platform) • Must be willing to utilize personal cell phone • Must be willing to work in fast paced manufacturing environment and posses all PPE required per suppliers safety requirements. • Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, maneuver • Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. 1099 Contractor with established LLC/DBA. EIN# must be provided at time on on-boarding (or) planned to obtain within first 90 days of employment.
