Job Description: Mechanical Estimator (HVAC & Sheet-Metal) Position Overview: The Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for sheet metal and HVAC projects in commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical estimating, specifically in sheet metal and HVAC systems within commercial and industrial construction. • Proven track record of preparing accurate and competitive estimates for mechanical projects. • Strong knowledge of HVAC and sheet metal systems, installation practices, and industry standards. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Trimble, Bluebeam, AutoBid). • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
