Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Manager Location: Milledgeville, Georgia Company: Fouts Bros, Inc. Job Summary: Fouts Bros, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our manufacturing engineering team in Milledgeville, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in our production operations. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing engineering, leadership, and project management. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team to achieve production goals. • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality. • Oversee the design and bill of material details for all products and production lines in support of manufacturing processes. • Collaborate on upfront process to ensure sales orders are converted accurately to production orders. • Ensure all print packages released to the floor meet customer and product specifications, include detailed drawings and complete Bill of Materials (BOMs) prior to Clear to Build. • Collaborate with other departments to optimize commercial, technical and production workflows. • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. • Manage budgets and resources for engineering projects. • Train and mentor engineering interns and offshore engineering team to enhance their skills and performance. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety standards. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Proficient in project management and problem-solving. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software. • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes, quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards. • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Experience with budgeting and financial analysis in a manufacturing setting. Preferred Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration. • Experience in the fire truck or automotive manufacturing industry. • Lean Six Sigma certification. • Professional Engineer (PE) license. • Experience with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations. • Experience with supply chain management and logistics.
