Mechanical Equipment Specialist

Job Description The primary objective of this position is to ensure the optimal performance and maintenance of machinery and equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining production/manufacturing equipment and machinery. Key duties and responsibilities include: • Performing highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment • Performing scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service • Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment • Executing simple machinist duties and responsibilities • Utilizing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair skills to address production machine issues • Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service • Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and making adjustments as needed • Conducting regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities • Performing plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions as required Required Skills & Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, with expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including gearboxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings, and product manuals • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and read mechanical drawings • Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software, including parts search, WO tasks, parts checkout, creating WOs, and ordering parts • Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, time management, organizational, and priority management skills • Ability to work within an integrated operating enterprise and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and perform calibrations, installation, and maintenance of process and analytical instrumentation • Willingness to work variable schedules and adapt to changing priorities Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending account, retirement savings plan with match, short-term disability, long-term disability, group critical accident insurance, group critical illness insurance, employee assistance plan, and paid time off (PTO) after 90 days. Senior Mechanical

This senior level role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complete automation and mechanical systems that enhance manufacturing capabilities. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer with deep experience in both mechanical design and automation controls, capable of delivering solutions from concept through commissioning. This position directly supports strategic initiatives led by the Industrial Engineering team, including tooling development, process automation, cost reduction, and new product integration.
