CNC Machinist will operate CNC mills or lathes to safely produce parts that meet Graco quality requirements at the lowest cost in a timely manner. Job Duties: • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot a variety of CNC machines within a department. • Adjust tools and replace as necessary. • Create and edit CNC programing. • Perform daily maintenance of machines as required. • Read and understand layouts and blueprints for complex parts (includes Geometric Tolerancing). • Provide accurate inventory counts. • Use of comparator, CMM, Trimos, gages and related test instruments. • Perform necessary side operations as required (i.e. deburring). • Work as a team member and communicate with machine group shifts. • Maintain a clean, safe work area. Requirements: • High School diploma, or equivalent. • Have completed at least a 2-year qualified precision machining program; OR have at least 4 years of equivalent prior CNC machining experience. • Ability to read and understand CNC programs and blueprints as required. • Ability to work under minimum supervision and consistently maintain the performance levels set for quality and quantity. • Understand safety rules and regulations. • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing experience preferred.
