Responsibilities • Set-up and Operate Machinery: Execute set-up and safe operations of various machines including Lathes & Milling machines. • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and schematics to determine the dimensions and specifications of parts • Safety: Follow safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE and maintaining and organized work environment • Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure conformity to specifications • Qualifications: Experience with CNC and manual machine tools is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and materials. Experience with measuring and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc. • Experience: Previous Mill and Lathe programming and operation required. Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES • Set up and operate CNC turning centers and/or machining centers, select proper feeds, speeds and tooling, determine clamping methods and make machine adjustments with limited use of fixtures. • Read and interpret work order routings, prints, sketches, and tool sheets, as required.
