Job Summary As an HVAC Service Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems with professionalism and care. You'll provide excellent customer service, educate homeowners on their options, and ensure every job is done right the first time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems • Perform seasonal tune-ups and safety inspections • Present repair options and maintenance plans to customers • Clearly explain system conditions and educate homeowners on solutions • Promote and sell Club Membership Agreements • Accurately document all work performed, including materials used and time on site • Submit job paperwork and receipts promptly • Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized company vehicle • Attend weekly team meetings and ongoing training sessions • Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly • Assist with inventory tracking and participate in truck inspections • Communicate job outcomes and any follow-up needs with Dispatch • Represent the company professionally and uphold all service standards • Perform other duties as needed to support the team Minimum Qualifications • 2+ years of HVAC service experience • EPA Certification required; NATE Certification preferred • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work in all types of Michigan weather and in tight spaces • Able to lift 75+ lbs and safely access attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Must pass a background check and drug screening • Positive attitude and strong team mindset Why Join MacGregor?
