HVAC Service Technician - 2nd Shift

Service Professor is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician for our 2nd shift. This position will work Monday thru Friday from 12pm - 9pm. Position Overview: Our Residential HVAC Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in homes and ensuring our customers' homes maintain comfortable temperatures year-round through effective system upkeep and repair. A Typical Day Looks Like: • System Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation. Clean and replace air filters, clean coils, and check refrigerant levels. Lubricate moving parts and inspect belts, fans, and motors for wear and tear. • System Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heating, ventilation, and cooling systems. Repair or replace malfunctioning parts such as motors, compressors, thermostats, and control systems. Test repaired systems to ensure proper functionality. • Customer Service: Communicate with homeowners to explain problems and potential solutions. Provide estimates for repairs, parts, and labor. Offer advice on system upgrades, maintenance practices, and energy efficiency improvements. • Upgrades: Evaluate Existing Equipment by inspecting the current HVAC system to assess its age, efficiency, and overall condition. Older systems may require frequent repairs or lack modern energy-efficient technology.
