Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in installation, specifically in air conditioning, heat pumps, and forced air systems. We work a good mix of residential and light commercial replacements and new construction. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. • Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify issues and ensure proper functioning. • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with HVAC systems using appropriate tools and techniques. • Perform equipment repairs including welding, refrigeration work, and boiler maintenance as needed. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while performing all tasks. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. • Drive company van to job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems. • Previous install experience • Proficiency in air conditioning installation and repair techniques. • Ability to braze, pipe-fit, plumb, and work sheetmetal as required for specific tasks. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. • Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is a plus.
