About us - Employee must have the ability to work independently in the field. MUST HAVE minimum 1 year of experience installing furnaces. Helpful to have experience with repairs. It is necessary that the candidate have prior experience with working independently installing HVAC systems. Unfortunately, we will not respond to candidates saying they are fast learners without any previous experience. Employee must have good customer service skills in addition to the mechanical skills necessary to install equipment. Duties and Responsibilities - HVAC Technicians have several responsibilities. Depending on the specifics of a job, their primary duty is to install new units. Other duties that are involved in this role : • Removing old systems • Installing new systems • Training junior team members • Communicating with clients and customers • Ordering and maintaining equipment • Meeting local HVAC codes Skills and Qualifications - HVAC work is challenging, both in terms of the technical knowledge needed for the job and the difficulty installing HVAC equipment in new construction or replacing current units . Problem-solving is a big part of the job, and workers need good communication skills so they can explain what need to be completed and why. HVAC Technicians also need a variety of highly technical skills and qualifications, including: • MUST HAVE minimum 1 year of experience installing furnaces • Removing old HVAC equipment so new systems can be installed • Running pipe and duct systems through homes • Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams • Technicians must be organized and able to order parts and arrive on the job site with all the parts/equipment needed. Required Qualifications: • Eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship. • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. • Understanding of Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration systems and hold the Ammonia Refrigeration Systems Certification - Operator Level 1. • Able to wear a full face respirator mask and willing to join the Hazmat team. • Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and wiring schematics. • Strong commitment to safety protocols and ability to recognize unsafe conditions. • Willingness to work weekends as needed. Preferred Qualifications: • Computer literacy with eagerness to learn SAP/PPE systems. • Experience in food processing maintenance. • Understanding of wastewater systems and HVAC. • Boiler and compressed air systems operating experience. • Proficiency in using calibration equipment, including RTD calibrators and digital multimeters. • Able to troubleshoot 480 VAC 3-phase motor controls, 120 VAC, and 24VDC control circuits.
