Electrician - JLL What this job involves: We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our facilities team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable building operations. The successful candidate will work on complex commercial electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, building automation, and emergency power systems while ensuring compliance with all safety codes and regulations. What your day-to-day will look like: • Maintain & repair all electrical systems (lighting, power, motors, controls) • Inspect & monitor equipment, panels, transformers, and building automation systems • Diagnose & troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment • Handle emergencies including power outages and system failures • Support projects including upgrades, tenant improvements, and new installations • Ensure compliance with safety codes (OSHA, NEC, local standards) • Document & report all maintenance activities and system performance Required Qualifications: • Valid Washington electrical license (Journeyman, Plant Journeyman, or LME) + High School Diploma • 3+ years commercial electrical experience with building systems • Building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC controls experience preferred • Technical proficiency in troubleshooting, electrical codes (NEC), and testing equipment • Computer skills including CMMS software and ability to read electrical schematics • Physical capabilities to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces • Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation Pay: $65900 - $95500 / year (paid hourly) Schedule: M - F; day shift Location: Vancouver, WA Reports To: Operations Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Estimated total compensation for this position: 65,900.00 – 95,500.00 USD per year The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
