JOB DESCRIPTION Springfield Plywood & Veneer Position Title: Electrician Reports to: Maintenance Director Department: Maintenance Hours per shift: Employee works 10-12 hours per day; two or three 10-minute rest breaks and one 30-minute unpaid meal period during the day. Wage: Depending on Qualifications Position Purpose: Maintain high levels of production by minimizing downtime by providing both predictive and preventive maintenance on all equipment. Identify areas representing production bottlenecks and lost recovery opportunities. Develop action plans to provide solutions. Note: All level changes are to be evaluated by the plant Controls Tech / Electrical Supervisor. Some additional requirements may be necessary.
