Responsibilities • Responsible for wiring and building low voltage mobile enclosures based on electrical schematics and verbal instruction • Assembly of enclosures will include assembling back panels, wiring, labeling of wires and assembling components • Responsible for building braided electrical harnesses based on drawings, pin to pin documents and verbal instructions • Responsible for installing all components/harnesses on heavy equipment • Responsible for configuring electrical components such as radios, ethernet/can converters and cameras • Use troubleshooting skills to diagnose system, PLC, and equipment problems at Summit Attachments shop or in the field Qualifications • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications • Excellent communication skills • Strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills • Attention to detail and accuracy required • Highly motivated/Self starter • Experience with electrical hardware: relays, fuses, Deutsch connectors, ethernet switches • Experience with Schematics • Experience with J1939 Canbus Other • Parker IQAN or other PLC experience • Solid Works Electrical experience • Travel and overtime opportunities available

Simplot Kelso is our seafood and snacking processing plant, producing approx. 50 tonnes of product daily (75 SKUs) for the retail and foodservice markets including Birds Eye, I&J and Captain's Catch branded products. The site employs approx. 120 local employees, with approximately 95% of manufactured goods consisting of either Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) or Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) seafood. What You Will Do Reporting to the Engineering Manager (via the Electrical Team Lead), the Maintenance Electrician will perform planned, scheduled and breakdown electrical activities on a wide range of fixed plant and equipment in alignment with the site's Maintenance & Production schedules that support optimisation of plant reliability, improvements related to employee safety, and site continuous improvement activities. The Maintenance Electrician will work across a rotating Mon-Fri day / afternoon / night shift roster with weekend OT available (weekend penalty rates apply). Working closely with the wider Engineering / Maintenance (incl.
