Responsibilities • Maintains and troubleshoots electrical equipment and power distribution throughout the plant • Establishes the appropriate procedure to locate and correct electrical problems, and determines electrical component replacements • Performs high and low voltage splices, terminations and stress cones • Installs and maintains high, medium and low voltage power controls on equipment • Performs necessary maintenance to the equipment and machinery to repair or replace the defective parts • Troubleshoot electrical problems in power circuits 120 - 12,470 volts, in addition to control circuits of various voltages and repair transformers and circuit breakers • May perform a variety of electrical tests to determine exact cause of issue • Performs adjustments and calibration procedures on various forms of process equipment • Perform preventative maintenance as instructed on all equipment / machinery • Collaborates with other department, providing necessary electrical support to ensure day-to-day maintenance issues are resolved; maintains an electronic log of any highlights occurring during shift coverage • Performs work area inspection • Performs other duties as assigned Education High school diploma / GED Requirements / Qualifications • 3-5 years' experience required • Experience in the Industrial Electrical field and troubleshooting techniques • Familiarity with NFP 70E, basic AC and C controls and terminology of tools, prints and equipment • Must have proven experience and ability in mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance troubleshooting techniques • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Able to read and comprehend electrical blueprints and schematics • Strong computer, interpersonal and problem-solving skills • Good driving record • Ability to travel to other locations to provide support • Ability to work overtime, night and weekend work as needed including responding to emergency calls • Provide basic tools for routine maintenance, installation and repair work Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug / alcohol screen, and background check.
