Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer Position Summary Our Electrical Engineer works collaboratively within engineering design groups, focusing efforts as guided by the project manager, while working independently to accomplish goals. This electrical engineer must be able to determine solutions to achieve stated end result objectives. Individual must have broad experience in the full electrical design process, from requirements capture to design, test, and documentation. Key Responsibilities • Responsible for the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems. • Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. • Design experience and knowledge of highspeed digital PCBs and FPGAs (typically Xilinx/VHDL) • Knowledge of analog/RF circuits, leading to digital computing systems. • Will collaborate in design with senior systems, hardware and software engineers • Develops and executes product testing and integration plans for new or updated products. • Supports manufacturing and product services elements in the company to maintain operation of current designs, and to resolve issues therein. • Write and review technical documentation, have good verbal communication skills and task coordination. Electrical Systems Technician

Job Summary We are seeking skilled professionals to enhance our customer-centric culture by delivering exceptional service and environmental sustainability. A Lineman will install, maintain and repair all transmission and distribution electrical systems and associated equipment. They will utilize line trucks, aerial boom, lifts and wire pulling equipment for maintenance of lines and services, which includes pole climbing, hot sticking, and working out of truck mounted bucket lifts. The ideal candidate will have had at least three years' experience or equivalent related training in one of the following branches of the trade: Line Construction and Maintenance; Station and Substation Construction and Maintenance; Meter Installation, Testing and Maintenance; Underground Construction and Maintenance; Communications Construction and Maintenance; or Estimating. • A high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. • A Lineman certification or testing through IBEW Local 125 is required. • Completion of a formal training program for a Lineman is preferred. • Must meet examining board review of skills and experience. • Candidate must have formal hot stick training and experience. • Must own, or be able to obtain, a Class A Commercial Driver's License. Linemen work with lifting in excess of 75 lbs from floor to waist and waist to overhead, carrying in excess of 75 lbs with both hands, and pushing and pulling in excess of 100 lbs of exertional force. This requires sustained, awkward positions/postures including bending and twisting at the waist and neck, reaching forward, to the side, across the body and overhead.
