It’s time to leverage your skills and passion to do work that truly matters! Job Description Peterson Power Systems is seeking a Project Engineer at our Hillsboro, OR location. SUMMARY The primary responsibility is to provide essential documentation for new equipment sales of Caterpillar power generation products. The role involves providing technical support and drawings to both internal teams and external customers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The following are the essential functions as defined by management but are not exhaustive. Management may assign or reassign tasks as needed. Other duties may be assigned. • Act as a technical liaison between Sales/Project Managers and Customers. • Collaborate with contractors and customers to address application and installation questions. • Prepare detailed Engineering Submittals for standby power systems, industrial engines, and marine projects. • Coordinate with Caterpillar factory and external vendors to gather documentation. • Draft official correspondence and respond to review comments from engineers and contractors. • Prepare Operation and Maintenance Manuals and close-out documentation as required. • Maintain and update the Peterson Power Drawings Database. • Maintain and update the CAT Drawings Database. • Collaborate with Project Managers on assigned projects. • Travel up to 10% for customer meetings, vendor visits, and job sites outside the local territory. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited college, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. #INDjobs Peterson Power Systems, Inc. is committed to equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.
