Qualifications Required Skills • Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment, or equivalent education. • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. • Solid understanding of AC/DC systems and PLC logic. • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. • High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Skills • Experience with industrial electronics, motors, and controls. • Familiarity with test instruments and instrumentation. • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in an industrial setting.

ELECTRICIAN

Description: ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Execution of the Planned and Preventive Electrical/Maintenance schedule. • Responsible for Installing, Testing, Maintaining and Troubleshooting wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment. • Responsible for Troubleshooting Electrical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Pneumatic Systems, Motor Controls, AC/DC Drives, and Medium Voltage Switch Gears. • Be able to read and interpret Equipment drawings, PIDs, One Line Diagrams, and Schematics. • Effectively Diagnose and Repair Malfunctioning Systems and Components. • Improve equipment Reliability and Optimize Resources. • Maintain logs, and record labor, materials and equipment used. • Proficient use of Electrical Test Equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Ammeters, Meggers, and Instrument Loop Calibrators. • Ability to install and setup Variable Frequency Drives. • Participate in Breakdown Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Focused Improvement, and 5S projects. • Ensure all workers adhere to Local, State, and National Codes and Regulations. • Perform all other related duties as assigned. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • High school diploma or equivalent education. • Electronics Technician Community College Degree or Licensed Journeyman Electrical License. • Minimum of 3 years Industrial Electrician. • One year of In Plant Manufacturing Experience. • Ability to work Independently and Utilize Critical Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills to Generate and Implement Solutions throughout the Process. • Must maintain Compliance within all LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights Policies. • OSHA 10 Training and Experience. • Experience with Variable Speed Drives, Siemens Drive knowledge a plus. • Experience with PLC Installation and Troubleshooting, Siemens PLC knowledge a plus. • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in all Mechanical tasks, jobs, and repairs. • Ability to work extended hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays. • Ability to work at heights in excess of 80 feet, use man lifts, and work in confined spaces. • Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required. Electrical Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician Electrical job is a core component for our maintenance forces and requires a trained and experienced individual to continue our success as one of world’s largest steel producers. The pay rate for this role is $32/hr. The Maintenance Technician Electrical performs all electrical maintenance functions necessary to maintain all operating and service equipment using standard and specialized tools and equipment including mobile equipment, pendant and overhead cranes and forklifts. As a Maintenance Technician Electrical, you will install, maintain, repair, and operate a broad range of electrical systems and electrical equipment in a heavy industrial environment to maintain continuous operations. This includes experience in any of the following: industrial electronics, motors and controls, schematics and electrical power, print reading, computers and PLC’s, electronics, AC/DC theory, power, test instruments and instrumentation, electrical maintenance, commercial construction and installation. • High School Diploma or GED • The position requires working 8 to12-hour shifts (Days or Nights), which will include Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays. • The position requires overtime work as needed. • Adherence to safety procedures/guidelines always.
