Electric Maintenance Technician

$1500 Employee Referral Program ELECTRIC MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Join our dynamic Maintenance team and take on an exciting opportunity as an Electric Maintenance Technician. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various electrical and electronic systems, ensuring efficient operation and safety protocols are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct routine electrical and electronic preventative maintenance on mill equipment. • Oversee the repair, modification, and maintenance of a range of electrical and electronic devices. • Handle wiring circuits, replace components, and repair electronic devices as needed. • Utilize various testing instruments, such as multi-meters and Meggers, to perform readings. • Stay current with technical advancements through classes and training sessions. • Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. • Adhere to safety regulations, wearing safety gear, and completing necessary training programs. • Perform other assigned duties to support the maintenance function. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic proficiency. • Understanding of electrical fundamentals is essential. • Knowledge of 3-phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring, and troubleshooting. • Experience working with 480-volt power and logic circuits. • Strong analytical, computer, and mathematical skills. • Capability to read and follow electrical schematics independently. • Familiarity with machine control systems. • Ability to troubleshoot complex machine control systems effectively. • Skill in identifying and describing the features of controllers. • Knowledge of signal paths in control circuits. • A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. • Eligibility to work legally in the United States without sponsorship. • Availability for variable schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Willingness to be on-call for emergencies as required. • Ability to collaborate as part of a team to deliver results. • Readiness to cross-train for new skills and job functions. • Consistent and predictable attendance is essential. Preferred Skills: • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). • Ability to interpret PLC logic for troubleshooting applications. Electrical Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor – Electrical Location: Little Rock, AR About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and ensure optimal performance of plant equipment and machinery. This role requires strong hands-on skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and reliability systems within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead, coordinate, and support all maintenance activities across plant equipment and machinery. • Implement maintenance & reliability systems such as PM, TPM, Workplace Organization, and related practices. • Train engineers and technicians on maintenance methods, safety procedures, job safety analysis, and lockout/tagout. • Conduct breakdown analysis and drive corrective and preventive action plans. • Manage in-house development of imported spares and vendor development. • Ensure availability of critical spare parts and materials. • Support equipment upgrades and de-bottlenecking initiatives. • Oversee SAP maintenance module implementation and usage. • Enforce OSHA standards and promote a zero-incident safety culture. • Supervise and guide maintenance personnel involved in installation, repair, and preventive maintenance. • Act as a hands-on leader for electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair. • Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and improve reliability. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics or related field. • 5–10 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing/industrial plant. • Strong hands-on exposure to mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLCs, automation, and control systems. • Experience with SAP or other maintenance management systems. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Experience supervising maintenance teams, including hiring, training, and performance management. Preferred Skills • Knowledge of reliability improvement techniques. • Exposure to vendor management and spare parts optimization. • Understanding of safety compliance, OSHA standards, and risk assessment. • Ability to analyze breakdowns and lead root-cause investigations. Work Environment • Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to moving machinery, electrical components, noise, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
