Craftsmen Contractors is looking to hire Electrical Technicians, Electricians, Apprentices and Helpers for the Minden, La. area. This project is for a manufacturing facility that builds data centers, telecommunication enclosures, skids, buildings and steel structures for the fiber, utility and industrial markets. These are temp to permanent positions for the right candidates. Starting pay rate is $16.50 - $31/hr. depending on experience. Weekly pay by direct deposit. Work schedule: day shifts Monday thru Friday and every other Saturday when needed. Job Duties: • Read and interpret blueprints. • Perform operational checks. • Install wire for complex configurations. • Bend and install conduit, rigid & EMT. • Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair. • Install complex conduit configurations per blueprint specifications using appropriate tools. • Mount electrical boxes, fixtures, and enclosures. • Stock and set up electrical wire carts. • Pull wire through conduit to create ground connections. • Install and cover receptacles and switches.
