As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for constructing, building, and maintaining overhead and underground electric facilities with primary voltages up to 15KV. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in linework, with experience in installing, removing, and maintaining OH/UG primary line facilities and secondary services. You will also be responsible for installing transformers and wiring transformer banks, as well as driving trucks and operating various pieces of equipment. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to read and understand job prints and sketches, and recognize materials and their functions. You will also need to be able to set and climb poles in open areas, rear alleys, and in energized lines. In addition to your technical skills, you will need to be available for on-call duty and emergency response, and be willing to work irregular hours and out-of-town assignments as required.
