Electrician - Job Description Cascade Solar specializes in the design and installation of high quality solar and battery systems. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Electrician. This is a full time position, Monday- Thursday. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical installation of solar and battery systems on a variety of job sites throughout Oregon. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, an ability to communicate effectively and honestly, a willingness to achieve our high standard of quality, an ability to follow safety protocols, a strong sense of efficiency and work ethic, and exceptional attention to detail. Wage • $45-$75 per hour depending on experience and license type Responsibilities and Requirements: • Must hold one of the following licenses in Oregon: - Limited Renewable Technician (LRT) - Limited Residential Electrician (LR) - General Journeyman Electrician (J) - Master / General Supervising Electrician (S) • Organize, identify and order job materials • Supervise and mentor apprentice • Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and plan sets • Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues • Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ and Utility requirements. Familiarity with Oregon Solar Installation Specialty Code. • Proficient in conduit bending (EMT and PVC) • Install wiring, circuits, provide disconnects, upgrades to load centers, and install electrical connections to mechanical systems (Within scope of licensure) • NABCEP certification is a plus but not required • Collaborate with a positive attitude, open and honest communication, and work efficiently as a team player with coworkers and management. • Consistently document work by taking pictures, uploading them to company checklists, and contributing to the daily log feed • Previous experience in solar installation is a plus, but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Willingness and enthusiasm to learn, apply knowledge and follow instructions and safety protocol • Physically able to work with heights and heavy lifting(50+ lbs). Experienced Electrician

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage electrical systems within the operation. • Install, repair, and troubleshoot all electrical systems effectively. • Maintain open communication with maintenance teams and supervisors to ensure efficient and safe mill maintenance. • Assist with basic mechanical maintenance tasks as necessary. Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 1 year of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to secure a State of Oregon Electrical license within 6 months. • At least 2 years of millwright experience. • Proficient in programming, repairing, and troubleshooting PLCs and Optimization Control Systems. • Capable of troubleshooting both 480v and low voltage electrical systems, AC and DC. • Experience in troubleshooting, setting up, and programming variable speed drives. • Adept at reading equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively in challenging situations. • Excellent computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office products. • Willingness to cross-train in other technical areas to broaden skills. • Able to work within a computerized maintenance system. • Strong teamwork, cooperation, and problem-solving abilities. • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team. • Availability to work shifts, call-ins, holidays, and overtime as required. Desired Qualifications: • Knowledge and hands-on experience with instrumentation, electronics, lubrication, hydraulics, power transmission, mechanics, steam, welding, and pneumatics. • Working knowledge of NEC standards. • Familiarity with general electrical systems, such as motor starters and power distribution. • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC5 and/or Control Logix. • Competence in using hand and power tools. • Background in wood products or engineered wood products.
