This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Electrician at Electrical Continuous Improvement in Ontario, CA. At ECI we work year around no slow times. We mostly work in Ontario or 20 mile radius. We do about 10 percent travel throughout the year. The Lead Electrician will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects, managing a team of electricians, and ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Tech II Responsibilities • Obtain an understanding of project scope from supervisor including any available plans or documents. • Verify material requirements and develop installation plan for project and communicate the plan to all installers. • Perform EV charger pinpointing and commissioning with product manufacturer. • Field installation of project scope ensuring all work is performed according to the appropriate compliance and is completed in a timely manner. • Provide regular and timely project information to the Lead Technician or Supervisor. • Assist Lead Tech with job resources and project information. • Responsible for all aspects of EV service including installation, replacement, troubleshooting, circuits, tracing underground electrical circuits. • Be able to perform job tasks with minimal to no supervision. Tech II Qualifications • Minimum of 5 + years of commercial and residential electrical experience • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • State Electrical Apprentice preferred • Be able to get a journeyman license after working required hours • Adhere to safety policy as well as rules and regulations • Maintain active driver’s license with a clean record and have reliable transportation to report to various job locations Work Environment and Physical Requirements • Able to move or lift 50 lbs. unassisted • Able to withstand varying temperatures typical in an outdoor environment • Position spends significant amount of time sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing • Ability to travel overnight and extended periods of time • Position may require climbing of ladders and/or working from heights • Position requires 70% travel to regional projects and to other states, based on business needs • Position may also involve prolonged periods of driving and being on the road. • Ability to comply with and wear required Protective Personal Equipment (PPE).
