DUTIES • Willingness and capability to work on traffic signals street lights and other Intelligent Transportation Equipment, using a bucket truck • Inspect, install and maintain electrical components • Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices such as traffic signal circuits, cabinets, transformers, circuit breakers, services, streetlight luminaires, CCTV, communications equipment, • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools • Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code • Performs other duties as required and assigned QUALIFICATIONS • Current/Active NEC Certification (Required). • Experience in Fiber Optic splicing, termination, and installation. Knowledge of utilizing fiber optic splicing equipment and splicing methodologies. • Must have a clean driving record. • IMSA certifications preferred • Ability to exert moderate physical effort, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds) • C10 Electrical contractors license helpful, but not required. • Fiber Optic Association Certification preferred, but not required BUSINESS TRAVEL & HOURS • 100% travel to project locations and company facilities across the various counties within the Ventura County, San Bernadino, Orange, Riverside and Los Angeles. • Day shift; however, on-call will be required to meet the business needs.
