Electrician/Journeyman Wireman

Electrician/Journeyman Wireman Adamik Electric seeks an experienced Electrician/Journeyman Wireman for immediate opening. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems. • Measure, cut, bend, thread, etc. and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems. • Feed to, pull into, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc. • Splice and terminate wires at junction points. • Use industry related hand tools and power tools. • Troubleshoot equipment electrical systems and control circuits and build control panels from drawings. • Communicate effectively with Foremen and crew members. • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers and vendors. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Ability to install power systems: lighting, fire protection, security, and data network. • Ability to build and install control panels and provide maintenance to systems. • Experience using Electrical Single Line blueprints. • Experience finding and repairing faults in electrical apparatus and circuits. • Ability to verify compliance and functionality of installations. • Experience helping with the management of a project and crew. • Ability to manage material estimates. • Demonstrate strong leadership and pre-planning abilities. • OSHA 10 and Scissor Lift Certification REQUIRED • Must be able pass background check Physical Demands • Lift 50 lbs. from ground and pull 50 lbs. of force. • Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling and conduit pulling. • Fully squat, stoop or kneel while wearing a 25-lb. tool belt. • Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires. • Work off of ladders, man lifts or reach booms • Working Environment: While performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to: • A variety of weather conditions including cold, snow, rain, heat, etc. • High noise levels Compensation and Benefits • Paid Time Off-We offer paid sick time and paid holidays following successful completion of probation period; paid vacation after one year of employment. • Medical/Dental Insurance-We pay 70% medical and 100% dental insurance for all employees and family coverage is available at cost. • Vision/Life/Short-Term Disability Insurance – Coverage available at cost at the completion of probation. • 401k – Employee contribution available at the completion of probation. Electrical Foreman

Adamik Electric seeks an experienced Foreman-Journeyman Electrician to join our team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Effectively managing and assigning tasks to crew members, while maintaining an accurate labor tracking log. • Establish project goals and monitor success in reaching those objectives on an ongoing basis. • Manage purchase orders and ensure ordered materials are received while adhering to bulk buy material procedures. • Ensure the proper safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite to perform required work. • Ensure crew members start and finish work shift on time. • Maintain complete and accurate “as-builts”. • Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including project owners, architects, general contractors, management and crew members. • Conduct effective performance evaluations of crew members. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • A minimum of five years of field experience working as a Journeyman Electrician. • Demonstrated ability to effectively order and track materials, perform cost projections and develop “As-Builts”. • Strong, first-hand knowledge and experience related to scheduling, material lead times, product knowledge and installation durations. • Solid understanding of the electrical codes and installation methods. • Well-versed in the installation of power systems: lighting, fire protection, security and data networks. • Knowledgeable regarding the build, installation and maintenance of control panels • Comfortable utilizing Electrical Single Line blueprints. • Experience in verifying the compliance and functionality of installations • Knowledgeable in the identification and repair of faults in electrical apparatus and circuits. • OSHA 30, CPR/AED certified, Scissor Lift Certification REQUIRED • Must be able to pass background check. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • BA/BS Degree in project management, construction, electrical design and theory, or degree in a related field. Must have 5 years’ field experience as a journeyman electrician, Foreman, or in a similar area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
