DUTIES • Willingness and capability to work on traffic signals, streetlights, and other Intelligent Transportation Equipment, using a bucket truck. • Inspect, install and maintain electrical components. • Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices such as traffic signal circuits, cabinets, transformers, circuit breakers, services, streetlight luminaires, CCTV, communications equipment. • Terminate and splice Fiber Optic cable in various mediums. • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. • Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code. • Performs other duties as required and assigned. QUALIFICATIONS • Current/Active NEC Certification (Required). • Experience in Fiber Optic splicing, termination, and installation.
