Service Electrician

Mario Castillo Electric Inc is looking for a skilled Service Electrician to join its team and is looking to continue grow in the electrical field. The Service Electrician will assist our customers in the maintenance, repair, and installation of their electrical system and also will be responsable for on-site sales. These tasks will be performed in residential and commercial customers. As a Service Electrician you will work with building schematics, blueprints, and manuals to figure out how the system works and solve the issue for the clients. The Service Electrician needs to have a deep understanding of electrical systems, and components, and work safely following OSHA requirements. Qualifications/Requirements for Service Electrician Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. • Practical experience working with electrical systems and equipment. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Be able to troubleshoot electrical systems in residential settings. • Knowledgeable receptacle's terminals, sizing and brands of breakers, proper sizing of wire, location of smoke detectors, kitchen outlet location and circuits. • Install and replace any outlet, light switch (3-way, 4-way), ceiling fan, lights, smoke detector, exhaust fans, motion sensors, thermostat, tv wall mounting, indoor/outdoor heaters etc. with no supervision. • Conduct a whole home rewire to code. (Rough and Final new construction and remodeling) • Work on all types of work relating to 120V single phase. • Be able to install a 100 amp or 50 amp sub-panels new (construction and remodeling) • Install panel surge protectors • Complete knowledge of residential codes. • Must be able to create symmetries for recessed lighting • Be able to run low voltage ( Camera, Ethernet, Audio) • Bending (Emt, Rigid, Schedule 40 ) conduit with ease. • Install and program doorbells and surveillance cameras, EV chargers. • Install low voltage wire, crimping/punching (CAT 6, HDMI, COAX) • Installing/Replacing lights in commercial buildings. • Must be able to patch drywall, stucco, and concrete (or be willing to learn). • Must be able to bend and run EMT conduit and know the fittien that are needed. • Must be knowledgeable of how to properly use multimeters, receptacle testers, non contact testers. • Ensure that you follow all safety requirements and OSHA guidelines while you work • Must be able to carry, push and pull up to 50 + Lbs. • Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and work from heights • Must be able to work on feet for extended period of time • Must be able to work in crawlspaces and attics Management skills: • the company provides a service van and gas credit card. As such, you will be responsible for the van (Maintenance, Gas, Wash, Organized/Clean) • Manage 1-2 apprentices at the same site job. • Supervise and teach apprentices. • Delegating responsibilities to apprentices like prep for a rewire, run wires, install boxes. • Maintaining Inventory of supplies, and purchasing it from the correct vendors. • Be able to delegate responsibilities to apprentices like prep for a rewire, run wires, install boxes. • Managing accounts from different vendors. • Responsible for purchasing material needed for the job. Facilities Technician - Electrician

Vast is looking for a Facilities Technician, reporting to the Senior Manager, Construction, to support the development of the factory that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. This will be a full-time, non-exempt position located in our Long Beach location. Responsibilities: • Electrical Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, control systems, and emergency backup systems. • Installation & Upgrades: Install, replace, and upgrade electrical components such as wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, transformers, panels, outlets, and lighting fixtures. • Emergency Response: Address electrical emergencies, diagnose issues, and execute prompt repairs to minimize downtime. • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical work meets local, state, and federal regulations, including NEC (National Electrical Code) compliance.
