We’re looking for an experienced and hard-working Electrician to join our Larry and Sons team. As an electrician with Larry and Sons you will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your duties will include communicating with clients to establish job details and related costs, reviewing electrical blueprints to identify wiring circuits, and coordinating with team members to install light fixtures and other items. Essential Job Functions: • Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring • Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards • Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning • Complete required documentation of repairs and service information • Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts • Calibrate equipment to provided specifications • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components • Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs Qualifications: • Minimum 3-5 Years of field experience • Proper knowledge to diagnose, repair and work on all types of electrical circuits – mainly residential/light commercial ranging from 24 VDC to 480 Volt AC • Must be very knowledgeable on current NEC codes • Ability to measure, assemble and install electrical conduit • Ability to run all types of wiring including but not limited to Romex, Mc cable, Service cable, Underground cable, etc. • Ability to properly install all types of electrical devices including but not limited to receptacles, lights, ceiling fans, switches, smoke detectors, etc. • Ability to climb ladders • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs • Must have good communication skills to communicate with customers and fellow colleagues • Clean Driving Record • Ability to Pass Pre-Employment Background Check and Physical/Drug Screen Physical Requirements: • Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. • Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
