Maintenance Electrician B - 2nd Shift

INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities) General Scope of Job: Job consists of the responsibility to layout, install, and maintain a wide variety of electrical equipment as related to an industrial facility. Job Description: Necessary to the proper performance of the job is a thorough knowledge of electricity with the ability to read schematics and blueprints. Must be able to make electrical connections. Must have had accredited apprentice training and have had prior experience as an Electrician. • Experienced in industrial wiring and installations. • Ability to troubleshoot relay logic controlled equipment. • Ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment • Receives instructions from immediate supervisor, lead person, or senior electrician. • Must be able to work without direct supervision upon receiving and reviewing assignments. • Ability to install and maintain AC/CD motors and controls • Ability to install circuits, starters, and controls. • Must have good knowledge and understanding of hydraulics. • Must have a good mechanical background in repairing equipment, welding, plumbing, and sheet metal work. • May perform additional duties within the scope of the job and/or in the department INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities) General Scope of Job: Job consists of the responsibility to layout, install, and maintain a wide variety of electrical equipment as related to an industrial facility.
