Essential Functions: • Technical Skills • Have a full working knowledge of reading electrical wiring elementary diagrams and schematics. • Able to read NEMA and DIN standard electrical diagrams and translate knowledge to the proper assembly and wiring of Industrial control Panel. • Have a full working knowledge of laying out Control Panel mounting plates and populating same. • Must be able to work independently. • Securely mount components, wireway, and din rail on mounting plate. • Be able to neatly apply Terminal markers, Cable label markers, and Gravoply component labels on mounting plate. • Complete ModCenter Assembly Quality Report. • Secure all cutsheet documentation packaged with components for Customer. • Have a full working knowledge of complete electrical wiring of Industrial control Panel. • Proper use of wire Cutting, Stripping, and Crimping tools. • Proper determination of correct color and gauge of wire per electrical drawing. • Properly apply wire marks to both ends of a wire. • Properly use Pneumatic/Electrical torque adjustable/limited screw drivers. • Thoroughly inspect wired assembly. • Report Non-conformances of same. • Complete ModCenter Assembly Quality Report • Maintain Schaedler/YESCO safety procedures for Assembly area of ModCenter solutions Group. • Have a working knowledge of the Steinhauer CNC to be able to assist/backup assemblers in machine shop, when required. • Be able to Diagnose/Troubleshoot electrical issues with Industrial control Panel Assemblies • Maintenance • Ensure tools in workstation are maintained and functional. • Clean benches and workspace around the machine daily. • Perform all daily/weekly/monthly maintenance • Report broken hand tools/power tools to supervisor. • Quality and Logistics • Update system with status of orders • Help prepare final documents for finished jobs prior to shipping • Package and prepare completed orders for shipment Competencies: • Have a full working knowledge of reading electrical wiring elementary diagrams and schematics • Have a full working knowledge of laying out Control Panel mounting plates and populating same • Have a full working knowledge of complete electrical wiring of Industrial control Panel. • Have a working knowledge of the Steinhauer CNC to be able to assist/backup assemblers in machine shop, when required.
