The Electrician position is available for individuals with experience in the following areas: Required Experience: • High School diploma required. • 6-8 or more years of industrial electrical work experience. • HS Vocational school in Electrical trades or equivalent additional experience. • 1 or 2 year technical school degree/certificate, preferred not required. Job Details: • Responsible for installing and testing wiring, electrical devices, control equipment on industrial equipment. • Conduit layout including measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembly and installation. • Electrical control panel and instrumentation wiring/installation. • Installation of industrial network devices and wiring systems. • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings. • Should be comfortable with field wiring, troubleshooting, and instrument checks. • Configuration of Instrumentation and VFDs. • Thorough knowledge of electrical safety procedures. • Thorough knowledge of NFPA 70 National Electrical Code. • Additional responsibilities may include building and equipment maintenance when necessary. • Perform all other duties and functions as assigned.
